About this page

AI-Stats.de collects publicly documented figures on the use of generative AI and presents them in a comparable form. The site is independent, sells nothing and advertises nothing.

How the figures are selected

• Only figures with a nameable source are included. Each one states its origin and its date right next to it, including when a figure is older than the others.
• Where a figure comes from a company announcement, it says so. Company figures are not an independent measurement; they are what the provider itself published.
• No intermediate values are estimated. The time chart therefore shows only the announcements that were actually published, as dots; the lines between them are a reading aid, not a measurement.
• The ranking ends at seven services. No comparably collected figures exist for the others, and padding it out to a round number would be guesswork.

Technical notes

• The page loads nothing from third-party servers: no fonts, no maps, no analytics services. All charts are drawn in place.
• There are no tracking pixels and no cookies for recognition. A technically necessary session cookie is set for operation and expires after two hours.
• Entries in the question fields are not stored. The forward leads to the official address of the respective provider; what happens there is governed by their own terms.
